One to three sessions. Every one ends with something built.
Most teams start with two. One works for a focused team with tooling already in place. Three is right when you want them fully independent afterward. Sessions are usually spaced a week or two apart so there is time to apply what was built.

Does my team need to be technical? No. If they can use the software they already work in, they can do this.
Do the sessions have to be back to back? No. Most teams space them a week or two apart.
What tooling do we need beforehand? Nothing specific. Session one covers the right setup.
Remote or on site? Either. Remote keeps cost down. On site adds a flat travel line.
